My sympathy goes to Connie's family. When I started in the radio room of the old Police Headquarters in 1968 Connie is one of the first officers I met. He was always low keyed and did his job well. When you spend eight hours a day on the police radio you quickly learn who the guys are that you want to send on calls. Connie was one of those officers. You could send him on a call and you knew he could take care of it. The grandkids should be very proud of their grandpa because he was truly one of Omaha's finest and wore the uniform well. I am sure God will have a place for him in his kingdom.
