William V. Graskowiak, 90

Bill was born December 27, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska a son of the late Victor and Bess (Ourada) Graskowiak. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Bill retired from Ameritrade but did not retire from life. He went on to volunteer at the Durham Museum where his love for trains was not only shared with his grandson but with others. He often played the part of Santa Claus with his wife as Mrs. Claus and was an active member of the Shriners as well.

Preceded in death by children Penni Trekell and Thomas V. Rechtenbach.

Survived by wife Ronna; children Boni (Jon) Aulwurn and Pauline Rechtenbach; daughter-in-law Belinda T. Rechtenbach; grandchildren Marcus (Mallory) Rechtenbach, Theresa Tackett, and Lt. Kenneth S. Blanton Jr.; 4 great grandchildren.
