Papillion, Ne., formerly of Omaha, 100 years. Born in Verdigre, Ne.

Preceded in death by husband Frank, sister Martha Sukup and brother Vaclav Holan.
Survived by son Jerry (Sharon); daughters Maxine Vaca and Margaret (Tom) Oldham; grand-daughters Cheryl, Teresa (Brandon) Brinkley; great-grandchildren Nathan, Kathryn, and Emily Brinkley; nieces and nephews; friends, and caregivers at Hillcrest County Estates.

Taught for nine years in one-room country schools around Verdigre. She met her sweetheart while dancing at the Chermot Ballroom in Omaha in 1942 . They married in Verdigre in 1943. Loving and devoted wife and mother. She had a lifelong passion for learning and teaching others. With her engaging spirit and humor, she made friends easily and deeply cherished them. Loved violets and stamp collecting . Enjoyed traveling, storytelling, and a good nap. Made the best kolaches, apple strudel, and raspberry tease dessert. Member of Legion of Mary. Former member Union Pacific Railroad Old Timers Club, and past president of the Ladies Auxilliary.
