Marietta and family, I know your hearts are breaking for yourselves but glad for John that he no longer suffers and has gone to his wonderful new home with the Lord, where he will wait to joyfully reunite with you. I wanted to come and see you this weekend, but my friend from California is visiting (and, truthfully, I lived there so long that I'm really scared to drive in the newfallen snow.) Know that you are all in my prayers.
