To Judy, Lad and all the family. I called to talk to Joan while I was in the hospital and discovered that she had just passed. I will miss our many phone calls, her cards, notes, and occasional recipes. She was my friend.I do miss our visits so much.

Our sympathy to all in Joan's family. I enjoyed getting handwritten letters from her through the years and occasional phones calls. I will miss those. I remember her following Liberace in the 1960's. I think she might have gone to Las Vegas and worked on his staff for awhile. There are a lot of nice memories of spending time with her and Andy Pete when we would come to Omaha in the summer when we were younger and in visiting in later years. Rest in Peace Cousin.

I am so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget the ferret I ended up with courtesy of your mom. Still makes me smile when I thing about that story. Take care my friend I will keep you all in my prayers.
