Today we gather for a final good bye to my grandchildren's father. I know his children will carry his love in their hearts all their lives and will face life without him with courage and bravery. Make him proud, Dan and Kaity. Your are his gift to the world. He will be watching over you every step of the way. Extending my deepest condolences to Bob's extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, Bob. May your journey beyond be filled with awesome experiences. See you at the other side.

Some of you may remember me. I first met Bob in high-school and there was a time we was inseparable. He was the brother I never had. I knew if I got up on that podium to share my memories I would have just lost it. So here it goes Bob and I would always be out just crusin dodge street drag racing all night into the morning. Then would end up at my parents house and sleep all day. Or we would pull a engine at night and have new one in up and running by morning. Or driving through a burger King drive thru in reverse because that was the only gear he had order our food then drive it all the way home. Or the time I showed up at his house and he was outside wiping something all over his satellite Sebring that wasn't running yet and I asked what's that smell, is that diesel fuel, he said yes look how it makes it shine. I'm like what! Or showing up at his house at 3pm and he's still sleeping I asked why you still asleep, he tells me I'm trying to quit smoking. The later I sleep the later I smoke. Um ok I guess if it works lol. And like others had said there's nothing Bob wouldn't do for someone. This was true even back then in the 80s he always been there for me no matter what time I called. Or even when I didn't, like the time when I use to work at village inn over by Bob's house and on my way to work I broke a bolt on my A-arm and wheel was sideways but I made it and proceeded to work when one of the cooks said hey someone's working on your car. When I was off work I came out and my car was fixed. Bob had noticed it when going by and went home and grabbed tools and fixed it. I could go on and on. The only regret I have is letting our friendship get so distant through our separate family lives. I will truly miss him and cherish his memories forever

Dan, Kaity and family, you are all in our thoughts at this sad time.
Be comforted by your memories of the love Bobby shared with you. He is free of a failing body of pain and will now be able to watch, with ease and joy, as you build your lives with strength and happiness.
