Kerry and Allyson,

Our hearts go out to you with the loss of you Mom. Diane was a sweet lady and such a wonderful addition to this crazy Olson family. She would reach out to us as we battled health challenges, offering an encouraging word knowing that God was with us. She will be missed.

Love, Dave and Sheryl

Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our beautiful next-door neighbor Diane. We have been neighbors for 18 years. Diane was a wonderful mother and neighbor. She was such a special person to our family. She never forgot the girls’ birthday, and she never skipped a holiday. It brings tears to my eyes to know that we will never see her again.

Diane was pleasant, genuine, and so easy to talk to. One of my favorite stories comes from a time when a storm with 100 mph winds ripped through the city. The power line to our house was down, and Tom our neighbor was repairing it. A fair number of neighbors had gathered around to talk about the storm and watch Tom. I was standing next to Diane when an old guy drove up to the curb and started walking toward us. Even though it was 6 PM, the guy was dressed in pajamas and slippers. Diane looked at me and said “who’s THIS guy?” I said “oh that’s my dad.” We chuckled together.

Diane – thanks for the memories. We love you.

Aunt Diane will be missed. She always had a warm hug when we visited. Her mothering spirit would always make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. Loved talking with her and catching up. Love you Aunt Diane!
