Dorothy V. "Dotti" Ryck, 78

Dorothy "Dotti" Brian was born January 3, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to Clyde Wayman and Dorothy (Goucher) Brian. She received her education at Western Hills Elementary, Monroe Junior High and graduated from Benson High School in 1961. Dotti enjoyed horseback riding and participated in competitive barrel racing. She and her sister Dian were charter members of the Omaha Stockyard Saddle Club. Dotti attended University of Nebraska at Omaha where she was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education. There she also met her husband George Ryck and they were married on June 22, 1968. She taught in Ralston, Nebraska and for Minnesota Public Schools, until moving to Columbus, Nebraska. After the birth of her three children, she owned and managed Little King Restaurant in Columbus with her husband. She was a member of Krafty Kapers Extension Club, a Girl Scout leader, taught Sunday School and Preschool.

She was preceded in death by husband George; parents Clyde Wayman and Dorothy Brian.

Survived by children Marci (David) Greene, Joe Ryck, and Tiffany Ryck; sister Dian (Paul) Wischmann; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
