Preceded in death by brothers Enrique Galván, Paulino Galván, Pascual Galván, Domingo Galván, and Manuel Galván; sisters Maria de Jesús Lara, Juanita Galván, and Felícitas Galván.

Survived by sisters Lourdes (Francisco) González, Bricia (Refugio) Sánchez, Gloria (Vasilio) Fernandez, and Mercedes (Juan) Valadez; his beloved niece and caregiver Maria Galván (Jose Rodriguez), and many other nieces and nephews.
