Survived by children Lucy, Liam and Londynn Bilek; parents Steven and Cynthia; mother of his children Catherene; siblings, Catina Larsen, Chip Craig (Angela), Josh Bilek, and Tiffany Bilek;
niece Ericka Flaggard; nephews Nick Craig, Timothy Craig, C.J. Craig, Ben Craig, Eli Craig, James Larsen, and Christopher Larsen.

Steve graduated from South High School and was a 3rd grade engineer. He loved the river, fishing, boating, and fixing things. He would help anyone, anytime. He was a loyal friend, very smart, never forgot anything he ever learned, and he loved to learn. He loved his pets who passed before him - Midnight, Storm, and all animals.
