Donna L. Armentrout, 72

Donna L. Armentrout of Omaha, NE passed away on March 10, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.

She is preceded in death by parents Charles R. and Helen J. Bourne; as well as grandfather Ray E. Wolfert and grandpups Mindy and Bear.

Donna is survived by sons Jeffrey L. Armentrout and Nichole Sieber (fiancée) of Wiggins, Colorado and Jeremy L. Armentrout as well as grand-pup Chip of Omaha, Nebraska; brother Robert (Maureen) Bourne of Omaha, Nebraska and sister Jeanene Pecha of Plattsmouth, Nebraska as well as many nephews and nieces.

Donna always put her love for her two sons first as well as her love for dogs. Donna worked hard and never asked for help raising her two sons and sacrificed a great deal. She was a fan of sports. Many trips to her son's baseball and football games. Donna retired in 2016 where she continued to sacrifice her retirement for both of her sons when they both battled the same type of cancer. Donna helped take care of both of her sons during their treatment and sacrificed even more. Donna battled her own ailments of Parkinson's and diabetes, but never let that stop her.

A scholarship at The University of South Dakota in Donna's name will be given to a student-athlete in the nursing/medical sciences as she greatly appreciated the care, she received from many nurses.
