Barbara A. Ratajski, 67

Barb Ratajski passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the age of 67. A lifelong Omaha native, Barb was a remarkable person who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. The kindness and joy she brought to others will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eileen Johanek, sister Sharon Szczepanowski and brother-in-law Ron Szczepanowski.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Phil, daughter Karen Ratajski; daughter Amy Gann (Chad); son John Ratajski (Paula); grandkids Haley Gann, Cody Gann, and Natalie Ratajski; great-grandchild Kora Gann; nieces Jill Szczepanowski and Kristi Geho; and grand-nieces Kaylee Geho and Tegan Geho.

Barb was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts, as well as attending craft fairs. She was a lover of all holidays, especially Christmas and her favorite movies that came with it. She lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She dedicated her time and attention to their care and was a master at bringing joy and love to their daily lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
