As I was placing the morning paper on the newspaper rack here at the library, I saw the notice of your father's death. It has been so many years since we were neighbors on 41st St & reading his obituary brought back many memories--happy memories! I remember your father's smile most of all--what a wild neighborhood full of kids at that time, I'm sure we drove all of our parent's crazy but we had a lot of fun! My sympathies are with my Aunt Sally and my cousins Dori, Lori, and Kelli and there children. Uncle Roger was a talented man and a loving father, husband, uncle, and grandfather. I know our family will greatly miss him. Sending my love to all.

My father will be so very much missed. I know that he is now at peace and I carry with me the pride he had for his family and friends. Dad, I hear you whistling while you work and know that you are creating something masterful for all to see. It's difficult to let you go but I must... I must return the gift God gave me... Roger was always a brother to me. He treated me like a little sister in everyway. I knew I could depend on me for myself and my children. He was a good husband to my sister and a good dad to his children. He will be missed and always loved.
