My heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with Darlene and the family tonight. I am very disappointed in not being able to pay my last respects to Tom. Nobody knows what happens when you pass, but I feel safe in saying that where-ever Tom ends up, and whatever route he took to get there, all places that experienced his presence will be better by virtue of his having been there.

I knew Tom for years as a member of our "Tips" breakfast group and met him often at Chamber and other events. He was always cheerful and an interesting person to know. Never had a question on where Tom stood on an issue - not afraid to voice his opinion. A great and colorful guy and he will be missed as a member of our community.

Darlene and family, know that our prayers are with . Our whole family will miss a great man. Not only was he a sweet person, but also a very Christian man that had a great faith in his religion. Going to Europe with you both was probably one of the best times of our life. His knowing about building structure and what he knew about how things were so interesting. Tom was my secret weapon voice talent and favorite voice talent for many radio ads I produced in the last 10 years. I thought he was so genuine and so funny. His personality came alive on any spot I did.

My prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. I will miss him.
