It is hard to believe. Uncle Bill was such a strong person and fought through so many difficult maladies and life struggles-he had the most tenacious spirit and love for his life. He seemed to be able to conquer everything. Cindy, the love of his life was certainly a reason his conquering spirit and quick recovery, no matter the circumstance. They were such a great pair and he was his best self for her. I am so grateful that he gathered us together on a regular basis to be with family-my kids remember him as the uncle who played spoons. I will remember his quick wit, his class, his faith, his courage and his love of family, especially all of his children. I will miss you Uncle Bill-love to you Cindy, Mary, Shawn, and Bill.
