So sorry for your loss. Leo and I were playmates on 15th st Brown Park. And yes his favorite games were playing war! He became a very honorable man and solider. May he rest in peace.

Dawne,

We are so sad to learn about Leo. He brought together so many people and led to so many friendships that lasted for years and years. He was like Jimmy Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life: "Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?"

We're out of town and won't be back till Friday and just feel awful that we can't be there with you.

My condolences to Leo’s family from this Lima company Marine who served along side this true hero. He was always one I looked forward to seeing at our 3/3 reunions, a humble wonderful Marine who leaves a large void in our hearts, Semper Fi Marine, you will be missed.
