I was so very sorry to hear of John's death. My son Nate Wiegrefe was a co-worker of John. We would see him at the Polish Home dinners and at the St. Stan's festival. I always enjoyed seeing him. Blessings and peace to John's family.

My cousin Marge Galus Sandlier told me of the passing of John. There are really no words. I understand that Mary passed away recently as well. So very difficult!

I met John when he was a freshman in one of my English classes at South High in 1972. He was likable and personable. He volunteered to be the student manager for my junior varsity baseball team in 1974 and did a good job of paying attention to details. We'll all miss him.
