Frank was not only my mentor but my team member as well. He taught me many things about being a case manager that I continue to use to this day. He was a truly genuine person and a loving father who always talked highly of his children.

All of us in Juvenile Court Room 6 grieve the passing of Francisco Cortes and just wished that we had words that would ease the sorrow of his family, former colleagues at Promise Ship / NFC and so many others who loved him. He was a hard worker and every day he worked his cases as a case manager on behalf of Health and Human Services.
To his children, he spoke to me often about each of you. He loved you dearly and nothing was more important than working to provide for you all and your Mom. Please know that every day he gave it his best efforts to improve the lives of children and their parents. He was not afraid to think outside of the box. Regardless of whether his efforts resulted in success, HE MADE A DIFFERENCE !
