I met Larry when I was only 9 years old. I thought he was okay, I mean I was only 9. Over the next couple decades our lives changed ever so much. I had children and he married my sister Judy and they started their own family as well.
He was always around anytime you needed something, always. I am not sure he knew the word no, when it came to family.
He was a good hearted man and gave us many scares over the years, the car wreck he and Judy had in Rockport, his sudden death heart attack, his cancer... none of these things ever squashed his enthusiasm for life or living it.
He was friends with everyone and everyone was friends with him.
My heart is heavy with his loss, he will be missed greatly by so so many.
From this side of his family, I hope Larry and Frank and John are doing their thing up there and happy. Also I hope he hugs all the ones we can't anymore...from us to them. My mom, my dad, my niece and my sisters. It truly is not a hope.....I know he probably already has.
To his immediate family, My deepest love and wishes for broken hearts be mended as quickly as God permits. He was a good man that will be missed by too many to count. Rest In Peace "Big Larry" you earned it my friend and my brother-in-law.

My Deepest Condolences to family and friends. I met Larry the summer I got out of eight grade, and then he married my sister Judy.
I would like to share with you about his big heart. He could see how sad I was at the funeral of my father, He didn't care about who could see his actions. it was totally out of his character. He started making funny faces and turned into the most animated clown, until he turned my frown upside down. and then gave me a heart whelming hug to let me know that he shared my pain, and that things would be alright.
Then when we were older and he learned that I had taken a bad fall down my outside stairs, he immediately without me asking, built me a beautiful sturdy railing to keep me safe.
We are going to miss him and his big heart very much!!!

With the saints give rest, O Christ, to the soul of Thy departed servant Larry, where there is neither sickness nor sorrow nor sighing, but life everlasting. Amen. Remember, O Lord, the souls of Thy departed servant Larry and of all our kin, according to the flesh. Also remember all those of our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the hope of resurrection and of the life eternal, and render unto them eternal memory. Into Thy hands, O Lord, we commend the soul of Thy departed servant Larry and pray to thee to grant him rest, O Lord, in the place of Thy rest, where all Thy blessed saints repose, where the light of Thy countenance shineth. Grant that our lives may be godly, sober, and blameless, that we may be worthy to meet him again in Thy Heavenly Kingdom. For Thou art the Resurrection and the Life and the Repose of Thy departed servants, O Christ our God, and unto Thee we ascribe glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen Remember, O Lord, our parents and brethren who have fallen asleep in the hope of resurrection, and all of those who have ended their lives in piety and faith. Forgive them all their transgressions, both voluntary and involuntary, committed by them in word or deed or thought. Set them in bright places of light, in places of green pasture, in places of rest whence all pain, sorrow and sighing have fled away, and where the light of Thy countenance shineth and gladeneth forever all Thy saints. Grant unto them and unto us Thy Kingdom and participation in Thine ineffable and eternal blessings, and to delight in Thine unending and blessed life. For Thou art the Life, the Resurrection, and the Repose of Thy servants who have fallen asleep, O Christ our God, and we render Glory to Thee, with Thine Eternal Father, and with Thine All-Holy, Gracious, and Life-Giving Spirit, now and forever and unto ages of ages. Amen
