Carmen Elcira Ramirez Aparcana, 78

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we mourn the passing and honor the legacy of Carmen Ramirez Aparcana, who was granted eternal life on February 13th, 2025.

Born in Lima Peru, on July 5th, 1946, Carmen was a beacon of sunshine and joy, known for her gentle and kind spirit. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a devoted mother, wife, and sister. Above all, Carmen was a faithful servant of the Lord, selflessly and generously helping others. Her love and compassion touched countless lives.

Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Roberto Ramirez; her parents, Victor Enrique Aparcana Ferreya and Carmen Julia Vizcardo; her brother Ronald Aparcana; and her dear nephew, Herbert Ampuero.

She is survived by her beloved family, including her daughter, Melissa Gerdes; her grandchildren, Katherine Aparcana and Dylan, Jacob, and Emily Gerdes; her siblings, Pedro, Norma, Carlos, Susana, Juan, and Jorge Aparcana; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Carmen will be deeply missed, and our hearts will carry her love with us always. We will treasure the beautiful memories and honor her legacy by living our lives to the fullest, spreading the same kindness and unconditional love she so freely gave. Her life and spirit will serve as a constant guide, reminding us of the true beauty and meaning of life---to love and be loved.

Until we meet again, we will hold her memory in our hearts.

May Carmen rest in peace, renewed and embraced by the Lord's everlasting love.

As is written in John 11:25-26, "Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."
