Gerald Allen "Jerry" Reisdorff, 76, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on May 27th. Jerry was born January 18, 1949 to Dan and Genevieve Reisdorff in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Holy Ghost Grade School, and then graduated from South High in 1967. He joined the Marines soon after graduation and served from 1967 to 1969. Jerry was a proud Vietnam Vet. He went on to be a union carpenter for 35+ years.

Jerry met Diane (Pfeifer) in 1971 and they were married May 11, 1973. Diane and Jerry had two children, Jenelle and Matt. The family enjoyed their cabin along the Missouri River where they spent time with family and life-long friends. He enjoyed hunting, boating, gambling, and of course his Harley Davidson motorcycles. Jerry was definitely the "social director" - always ready to plan a party. He was an avid Husker and Chiefs fan as long as they covered the spread. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Genevieve Reisdorff; brothers, Danny and Larry.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Diane; Daughter, Jenelle (Roger) McKinley; Son, Matthew (Mimi) Reisdorff; Brother, Nick (Cheryl) Reisdorff of Las Vegas; Sister-in-law Debbi Reisdorff of Colorado; and Carole Miller of Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
