In Loving Memory of George J. Tangeman
George Tangeman is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie; and his children, Kandilyn Freeman, John Tangeman, Kellie Potter and Chris West. He is also survived by Andy Potter and Ryan Gale. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Adelyn Tangeman, and his children, Steve Tangeman and Kim Gale.
He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, lovingly known as “G-pa” to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless joy and pride to his life.
George touched the lives of everyone he met.
Throughout his life, he was known for his humor, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He had a heart for helping others and found joy in lending a hand wherever he could.
After a long and fulfilling career, George retired from Creighton University in 2015. Retirement didn’t slow him down—he kept busy with his passion for buying, selling, and always working to “make that deal!”
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Firemen’s Hall, located at 2108 Franklin Street, Bellevue, NE. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable life of George.
