Betty passed away one day before her 84th birthday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. During her illness she was cared for by The Bickford Cottage and The Legacy Arbors, both in Lincoln , NE. Betty worked as the Secretary and active member at St. Mary’s Church 36th & Q St. for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by husband Bob, Lincoln, daughters Mary Beth (Bob) Lewis of Lincoln, and Jean Blanchette, Wake Forest , NC ; grandchildren Michaela and Aaron Jarosh; three sisters and two brothers. Visitation begins Sunday 4pm with a Wake Service at 6:30pm at the mortuary. Funeral Monday 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Interment St. John’s Cemetery .
